Christianity.com Network Provides Web Content Management Services to Crosswalk.com

- - HAYWARD, Calif., April 24, 2001—The Christianity.com Networkä (sites.silaspartners.com) today announced a three-year $3.3 million strategic partnership with Crosswalk.com, Inc. (Nasdaq: AMEN) to provide Web content management technology and managed network infrastructure to the number one stand-alone Christian portal. This partnership is meaningful to both companies in that they will utilize technology, content tools, and advertising resources to further expand each other’s capabilities. This partnership also clarifies both companies’ focus and their individual roles in the Christian Internet market. The Christianity.com Network is the top Christian Internet Web content management and network infrastructure provider, and Crosswalk.com is the premier Christian portal on the Web.

“This partnership is the best way to utilize each other’s strengths to accomplish a greater good,” said Dave Jaworski, CEO of Starwire Corporationä, the Christianity.com Network's parent company. “Our goal is for both companies to work together using each other’s area of expertise to the utmost benefit. The Christian market is so tightly woven that the best way to capture success is to work together in order to help Christians employ the enormous power of the Internet.”

The Christianity.com Network will provide the network infrastructure and Web content management technology for Crosswalk.com, which will lead to a complete site redesign, launching in late June. Crosswalk.com will provide daily content to the Christianity.com Network and share Web content tools such as Bible Study Tools, Chat & Forums, Devotionals, e-mail newsletters, Music Events, Free E-cards, and Directories to the Christianity.com network, which will result in improved services for Christianity.com network partners and new efficiencies for the company. Both companies will work together through future joint promotions including advertising, co-sponsorships, and co-branding events that will bring value to each company.

“Because Christianity.com’s expertise is in network infrastructure for the Christian world, it was perfectly suited to fulfill our current and future technology platform requirements,” said Scott Fehrenbacher, CEO of Crosswalk.com. “As a principal content provider for the Christianity.com Network, we are excited to contribute to their overall influence through this strategic partnership while broadening our own audience in the Christian marketplace and maintaining our leadership position.
