The Salvation Army Relief Network (http://www.salvationarmyreliefnetwork.org) is a special Web site set up to acquire donations for the Salvation Army’s national headquarters in order to provide shelter, food, and clothing for relief workers in New York and Washington, D.C. The Todd Beamer Memorial Foundation (http://www.beamerfoundation.org), founded by Todd’s wife, Lisa Beamer, is dedicated to assisting youth, promoting Christian athletics, supporting the concept of family, and providing support for families of fellow victims of the terrorist attacks. Todd Beamer was one of the men who heroically organized the diversion of the fourth hijacked airliner, United Flight 93, from reaching its intended destination on September 11, 2001.
